Magi is very good actually, although at the last arc it got bit weird and way too complicated with its world and how it supposed to work. I suggest the anime first to get a taste of how Magi is. Despite some of the changes, it gives back the manga well. Although after that I heavily suggest the manga, since it executes quite a few stuff better plus the interesting parts comes just when the anime ends. Plus because the soundtrack is really good for Magi. Shiro Sagisu really gave some excellent tracks (I hope to god he returns when Bleach anime returns) What I really like in it (outside of the characters) is how it shows its world and characters. Things are not black and white although some stuff needs time to really be shown more than just 1 side. Just something I haven't seen that much anywhere. Give it a try, just try to not pay too much attention to Japanese shenanigans. Like Aladdin despite only being 10 is already a little pervert (he gets better though) plus shonen tropes are still present, although not that heavily. |

| When people on discord either give you the genie role (Smite Discord) or simply just refer to you as genie, along with nicknaming you Genie Zita (Brave Souls discord).
When you get into a manga/anime simply because it has Aladdin in and Arabian Nights themed. |
