I vote "had a mental meltdown and went to the looney bin." Only because it'd make a hell of a 4th Aladdin film, should they ever get the ridiculous idea to do one. "JASMINE, it's me, Mommy! *does that weird thing where you put your finger between your lips and move the finger up and down*"  |

Well in the fanfic she was kidnapped, and her captor was malnourishing her.
And when you posted (the first post in the thread) about the "Jasmine movies," were you referring to the new Princess movies? |

I think childbirth and disease are more likely otherwise Disney probably would have made an episode or another movie about the murderer or have her be found or something.
Plus I made a fanfic way back when in which she died in childbirth (mixed with malnourishment)
P.S. According to the spellcheck "malnourishment is not a word.... but it definitely is. |

No, it's from season 1 - the special features on the DVD. "I've been doing things with girls' mouths since I was sixteen, but I don't consider myself a dentist."
It's one of my favorite lines ever for some reason. 
@Calluna: the film made it pretty clear that there was a way around it: "...Which means I can't kill anyone, unless I have someone arrange it for me."
IE, he couldn't directly kill anyone, but he could get someone else to do it for him. |
