I want to see that so badly. XD

And that is a very nice picture. I love cartoon characters done realistically. X3

I am such a fan of your drawings. I saw your portfolio website and the pictures that are posted for Evi's stories. They are so awesome.
That was so beautiful that you've drawn that totally romantic.

That is really, really nice. o.o I love your style; the way you've managed to keep the characters looking like themselves while still giving them your own unique art style and flare. It's a nice mixture of cartoon and realism, I'd say. Awesome job! *makes a mental note to check out more of your artwork X3* Excellent work on the anatomy, too. I find that's one of the hardest things to get right (especially on humans).

My friends in college knew me as the Anatomy Whore. lol I love human anatomy and have an obsessive compulsive collection of anatomy books to prove it. One of the favorite classes I took was Figure Anatomy, which was a figure drawing class that also taught textbook anatomy for artists. It was fascinating! Very Happy

Yeah, but conventions, those are American fans, so it seems like just the whole you-must-conform-to-one-style thing coming from another direction. Most of the actual Japanese artists I saw had styles I didn't really think of as "anime style" at all. Laughing

Yeah, big eyes and spiky hair doesn't make it anime Laughing

Thanks. Smile I tend to do all of my fanart (Disney or anime) in my own illustration style that's a little more on the realistic side. Glad you liked it.
This is pretty much why I used to be big into looking for Japanese Disney fanart a couple of years ago, because it seemed like those fanartists were a lot more likely to draw the characters in their own style instead of just copying the movie. Don't ask me why that is, I thought we Americans were supposed to be the ones who were all about individuality. Laughing

I dunno, but when I've showcased my work at some anime conventions and in different anime fandoms I've gotten some flack from time to time for not drawing the characters in anime style. Some people can be rabid about that stuff! At least transferring from Disney to my style doesn't seem to be that much of a stretch -- at least to me. lol
