I have a flower name IRL, so I always thought that quote was pretty cool. 
How about another one by Sindie, Unforgiven? There's a scene pretty close to what you describe in chapter 3... |

| I've read both of those and while they are good, they aren't what I was thinking of.
I read this particular one a few years ago. It was probably in 2005 or maybe a year earlier. I know Jasmine finds Iago in Jafar's old room and he's crying. She comes over, puts a finger to her lips and shakes her head as though telling him silently that she won't say anything as to him being there and then comforts him. The scene was very sweet and written very well. It was the one scene that stuck in my mind after reading the story. I hope that helps BTW: Garden of Evil is one of my favorite episodes! |

| There is a fic called Into the Fire, by Wendy, but it doesn't seem like what you're describing. The first one that comes to mind for me is Learning Life's Lesson, by Sindie. In that one he wasn't thrown out of the palace, but he had just been punished. I can keep looking if that's not the one you're thinking of. Do you remember how long ago you read it?

| Hi there! My name is Lauren and I just joined this mb! I’ve loved Aladdin ever since the first movie came out! My fave char by far is Jasmine! I also love Sadira, Rajah, Aladdin and Iago as well!
Anyway, I have a little fanfic mystery on my hands and I was hoping someone here could help me out! See, I’ve been trying to find this Aladdin story everywhere, but I can’t seem to locate it. The only thing I remember about the story was that Iago was thrown out of the palace and he returns when everyone is asleep. Jasmine finds him in Jafar’s old room and instead of alerting anyone, she comforts him. I think it was called Into the Fire or something, but I can’t be sure. If you happen to know what it was called, I’d really appreciate your help. Thanks! |
